Clayton Dickensian Market Recreating The Yesteryear

After the success once again of last years market with 4,500+ visitors.
This year the Clayton Dickensian Market will be in the centre of the village on 6th of December 2008, 11am to 5pm with allday entertainment, it will be held down Clayton Lane and on Park lane to School St.
There will be approx 100 stalls where you will be able to buy your Christmas gift's cakes , toy's home made sweets, craft stalls and much more.
In Victoria Park there will be a miniture train for children to ride on, kiddies merry go round.
To entertain you will be Morris Dancers, three groups in the park, Barbershop singers, and Ceilidh Band in the public houses, jugglers, buskers, barrel organ, and much more.
There will be the crowning of this years Snow Queen.
The village hall will be putting on refreshments and the bar will be open if you require some-thing a little stronger, some stalls will be in the village hall.
We hope you will join us at this very popular market where stall holders, organisors, villagers in Dickensian period costume will recreate the yesteryear.
